Jones Family Christmas Party !!!

We spent tonight at the annual Jones family Christmas party!! At least SOME of us spent the evening there. Every year a few seem to disappear to Cabella's to make major purchases. I won't say who's husband is ALWAYS one of the ones to disappear!! Eight of Darin's siblings and their families were there. Dallon and Heidi--we missed you guys!!! As always, there was a TON of GREAT food!! Shrimp, sweet and sour meatballs, cheese plate, wings, rolls, homemade soups, cheesecake, etc!! This year we did an impromptu nativity performance with the kids. No practice, no letting the kids know ahead of time. So, it was pretty choppy. But DARLING!!! Who doesn't love seeing children act out the nativity story!!!??? I told them each quickly what to do and sent them out on "the stage". Here are a couple pics of Logan and Ellie and a few of the cousins who participated. Logan was one of the three wise men. Ellie was the star-carrying angel. Also pictured here are Jaida, the white sheep...Marc, a shepherd....Carter, Joseph...Ashley, Mary... and the cutest littlest angel you ever saw!!! There were thirteen cousins in the little play.

We figured out this is the 5th year that Santa has visited at the annual family party. Logan asked for a Transformer. That's a first--I think he just copied his cousin. And of course, he asked for a "Little Angel" bunny!!! Santa had been prepped ahead of time, just in case Logan asked for that. Santa told him that they were all out of those at the North Pole!!! Won't Logan be surprised on Christmas morning to learn that Santa ordered a dang "Little Angel" off E-bay!!!
