OK, some of you know about the GREAT sale going on this week at Albertson's. And some of you know I am a bit of a coupon gal. I have not made a blog post in the past about my great buys--but I just can't help myself this time. I think I am super excited this time around because I took the time to show two friends "how it's done". And it is SO FUN to see them save and accumulate what can be used as food storage!! I think that today my friend Kim did better than I did!!! And she's a newbie!! In the picture below are just a portion of the items I bought during this sale. The bags literally covered my basement hall floor for days 'til I unloaded them. So, before I list what I bought and the final amount of money out of pocket I spent--think about this....how much would it cost you to buy 33 boxes of cereal??? Just calculate that number alone before reading on, to give you an idea of the incredible deals I got.
So...here's what I bought. 4 boxes Bisquick. 16 cans of soup. 9 hamburger helpers. 3 J&J baby shampoos. 2 liter coke product. 40 yoplait yogurts. 11 boxes gogurts or 6 pack kids yogurts. 1 candy bar. 2 french breads. 10 BC frostings. 20 boxes fruit snacks or fruit roll ups etc. 9 bags Chex Mix. 19 boxes of Fiber One chewy bars. 7 boxes of pancake mix. 22 Fiber One toaster pastries (like Poptarts). 9 single serve Green Giant flavored frozen veggies. 4 refrigerated cookie doughs. 16 3pk boxes of Jolly Time Healthy Pop popcorn. 5 Aqua Fresh toothpastes. 12 packs of gum. 4 32 oz. pkgs of cheese. 5 BC instant potatoes. 16 180 ct pkgs of HUGGIES WIPES. And.......33 boxes of cereal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (FYI, the wipes alone cost over $6 each. On sale!!! And I got 16 pkgs!!!)
Ready for the grand total????
$157 !!!!! The amount the receipts say I saved is near $1,000. I would never pay full price for any of these items. But it still sure feels great to see the final numbers!!!! Cheers to all my fellow coupon queens!!!! And welcome to the new penny princesses!!!

Absolutely amazing!! I'm SO jealous! I spent more than that on my groceries this week but maybe got 1/10 of what you did. How depressing. You go girl! (ps-sorry about the bartender song... my brother got in trouble at work when he looked at my blog + that song came on... but I love it!)
