Be My Valentine!!!

Hope everyone had a happy hearts day!! This morning my sister and I put on a little baby shower for our niece, Heather. She is expecting a baby girl and will name her Nora. Heather is the pregnant gal on the upper right. Next to her is my sister Naomi (also expecting a baby), and Heathers two sisters, my darling nieces, Megan and Courtney!! On the left is me with my two GREAT sisters-in-law, my brothers wives. It sure was fun to see all the gals at the shower this morning and catch up a bit. Totally worth the hour drive through a BLIZZARD!!!

Here are Logan and Ell last week making their valentines. They were both home with strep and this was a fun little activity for them to work on. Logan was loving writing every single name, and Ellie was exhausted of it all by the third or fourth name. Ellie had Disney Princess valentines and Logan had Thomas the Train.

I am the room mother for Logan's kindergarten class. For his class valentines party we played with playdough, played bingo, made heart memory games, did valentine mazes, had treats, and read the Franklin's Valentines story.

I had a chance to pop into Ellie's class for a few minutes as well. She was excited to wear a dress to school for the party--not a regular school dress. She sure does love her teacher!!

Valentine's Day around the house was fun. I had balloon bouquets delivered for Darin and the kids, and had fun little treats set out for them that I made at a Girls-Night-Out in our neighborhood. We had the kids art projects as our decor. The roses are from Darin. And he gave me this great picture frame with our family pictures in. I love it!!
