Aleena is so easy to take care of. She loves to do "projects" and keeps herself busy for long periods of time. While she was here we painted twice, played play dough, did puzzles and games, had a picnic, went to McD's play land, watched plenty of shows, did coupon shopping, went to the doctor, and STUFF!!
The weather was OK part of the week. Here the kids are being monkeys on the swing set that they are way to big for. It's more Aleena's size. They sure look happy and healthy!!?? Well, not really. Aleena had a fever the day before this, and has been coughing all week. Not to mention what she calls, "the bad poops". I think she got confused somewhere along the way about having a cold. She thinks when you ARE cold (brrr), you HAVE a cold. So when ever she was cold or shivering, she would tell me, "brrr I cold, I need purple medicine."
Today we took Ellie to the doctor to discover two massive ear infections, and one with a burst eardrum. I really am not that neglectful!!! She only complained of an earache yesterday!! We sure have been sick a lot lately, and life just goes on as usual. Maybe I need to act like we are sick when we are--and we might get better!!
We borrowed a toddler bed for Aleena so she could have her own little space. It worked out perfect!! Naomi--sorry if her sleep patterns are a bit off for the next few days. She's been up at the crack of dawn most days with my kids. NOT her normal routine. But she sure is flexible and easy to take care of!! She is a two year old with the vocabulary and sentence structure of a seven year old!!! What's not to love about a teeny, tiny, walking, talking princess with a bossy streak!! She had me laughing all week!! She often calls for me at the TOP of her lungs until I come. She usually has to tell me something really important like, "I'm playing blocks, OK."

She's a doll! And lucky to have such a great aunt. Glad we got to meet her ;)
So sorry to hear about all the illness at your house-- poor Ellie's ear!
