Birthday number two was celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa and a few other relatives, including aunt Rachie. The kids got a little bowl of goldfish for their birthday. They didn't survive long!! Same highchairs and same little cakes they had for their first birthday.
During the year they were two, Logan and Ellie had a nap every day. They still slept with their pacifiers, and we didn't even THINK about potty-training until almost their third birthday--that's when Ellie trained instantly. Never one wet pull-up. Nobody wants to pee on a Disney princess pull-up!! Truth is, I was a lazy mom and there was no way in heck I was about to clean up accidents for months while we potty-trained. So by the time I even let Ellie try it out--she was beyond ready, and she never had a single accident!!! Logan would follow almost a full year later, with the bribery of bubble gum. We waited until he was good and trained in his pull-ups before attemping underwear. And again, not a single accident to speak of!!! Guess that's how easy it is if you wait sooooo long!! Sometime at the beginning of this year we tossed out the bottles. Piece of cake. They looked at me like I was nuts when I would hand them a bottle, and never asked for it one single time when I finally got rid of them. Again, a mom overly sentimental about her babies growing up--holding on to every last thing eternally!!
