Yesterday Logan was the first one to loose a tooth!!! He has had a tooth that has been a little wiggly for a couple of weeks. Yesterday he took quite a spill on his bike. He ran into a parked car on the street. He hit his chin really hard, and bit down on his entire tongue!! His tongue is really chewed up and sore. I think the little incident must have given his tooth the bump it needed to come completely loose--and it loosened the one next to it as well.
The first picture is right before it came out. I am a queasy mom and thought I might need to pass out looking at the thing barely hanging on and bleeding. But I stayed strong and cheered him on!! He did it all by himself. He was giving it a wiggle and was shocked to suddenly see it in his hand. He was cheering and hollering. It was pretty exciting!! He kept looking in the mirror and saying he couldn't believe it!!
Here's a picture of Logan's Tooth Fairy box. It's a whimsical little box I bought him to put under his pillow with his lost teeth. Now he finally gets to use it!!! The tooth fairy brought him $2 and a new game. We asked him if he wanted the Tooth Fairy to leave him his own tooth to keep. He said, "No, she needs it to build her tooth kingdom." OK then--the Tooth Fairy took that tooth to add to her beautiful castle made of children's teeth!!!!

Way to go Logan! I love your tooth fairy box. It's when they start getting their grown up teeth they start looking older.
I's amazing how proud kids get when they loose their first tooth. Aaron just lost his first tooth yesterday and all of the kids couldn't have been more excited for him. It's so cute.
I can't believe that he lost his first tooth. What a cute box I love that idea.
I'm so impressed he pulled it out himself! What a guy. Too bad about his crash though...
