Happy Mother's Day to Keri!!

Mother's Day will forever be a reminder to me of one mother who had the courage and faith beyond what I have. A reminder of one mother who knew what would be best for the lives of her babies, and followed her heart, as painful as it was to do. We soooooooooooo love and care for Keri, Logan and Ellie's birth mom. Logan and Ellie know she is their birth mom. They know they grew in her tummy and that she loved them so much. They know they are so lucky, because not all kids get two kinds of moms.
Mother's Day will always be a day that I "share" in my heart with Keri. It is because of her courage that I am now a mother and can actually CELEBRATE as a mother on Mother's Day!! I can stand up when they pass out the chocolates at church!! I can feel like a MOM when my kids have the chocolate out of my hands and the card mangled before I even read it. I can feel like  a mom when it's a little plant they pass out at church, and the kids are both scrambling for a chance to hold it and to smell it, and in the process the dirt spills out. They always hand out those little trinkets at the very end of church--which for us is after three hours!! We are usually at our wits end and ready to ring a couple of little necks!!! But that fact that to want to ring their necks, and the fact that I am picking up crayons and papers on the church bench as they quarrel over my Mother's Day "gift" means I AM A MOM!!!!! I am so blessed!!!! Words will never describe.....thank you Keri. Happy Mother's Day to you from all of us!!! Have a beautiful Mother's Day weekend with your family!! We will be thinking of you!!
