Nope, the kids aren't crying--the mommy is crying!! (Again.)The last couple of weeks it's been hitting home that----once again----my babies ARE NOT BABIES!!!! Logan has his first loose tooth, and the kids only have four days left of kindergarten!!! I am feeling so sad that this school year is over so soon. It has been such a great year for the kids. How can my days of having them home half the school day be DONE???!!! Here are the kids cute invitations to their graduation. I can hardly stand it!! I surprised myself the first day of kindergarten by shedding not one single tear. I'm afraid I've saved them up for the LAST day of kindergarten!!!
And...a question for all you moms out there. I know I have been over this before. But WHAT are you all doing with your kids school papers, projects, etc.???? Saving them?? I have thrown out all the lame worksheets and stuff---but what about their original work and writing and artwork?? Give me ideas!!! I have piles that I have neglected nearly the entire school year!!

I haven't had to deal with it yet, but I heard at a motherhood workshop a suggestion: at the end of the year, you and your kids each pick out 2 (or whatever number you choose) of their papers, and save them in a scrapbook. Then the rest you can throw away. I have a hard time throwing stuff like that away, but maybe if I make it a goal it will work.
I hear you I'm having a had time too. My baby boy will be going to 1st grade so sad. You can always make a book, and maybe frame one or two pieces.
I am going to take pictures of all of them and make a photo book!
