Happy 75th Birthday to my Dad!!!

This is the sum of what it feels like to be refreshed in the backyard I grew up in, in Cache Valley. Aaaahhh!!! Oh to live in the country again.......at least I get to visit.
Here are Logan and Ellie having a little good old fashioned red-neck fun with their cousins last week. Climbing on grandpas logs with cousin Mauriana, playing with the goats at aunt Amy's house, and swimming with Wyatt and Shay at their house. When you grow up like we did--your swimming pool is a big, metal horse watering trough. And notice the SWEET, huge tractor tires in the background. My brothers both got a few of those and put them in the ground as a part of their kids play areas. SO FUN!!
Here are Logan and Ellie with Bonka Don, just before going out to his favorite place to eat for his 75th birthday!! The Golden Corral. The kids had a great time making trips to the food bars.
The occasion we all gathered for was my dad's big 75!!! Three-quarters of a century old!! Here he is holding his cupcake trays--the chocolate ones are in the shape of a 75. My dad with his great-granddaughter, Nora. His balloon bouquet on the tree stump--a tree that used to house one of the best tree-houses on the planet earth!! And, a picture of 15 of his 29 grandchildren.
Aunt Rachie had her famous bubbles out for the kids. So fun!! Look closely and you will see that Logan and Ellie are standing inside gigantic bubbles made with hula-hoops.
Here we have Ellie and two of her cousins, Aleena and Shay, in matching dresses that Aunt Rachie had sewn for them. Too, too cute!!
We sure had a great time staying for a few days to celebrate my dad's big 75th!!!! Thanks a bunch Bonka Don and Aunt Rachie!! Here's to a few more good decades Dad!!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!!

What a great party! Your Dad looks like such a sweet man-- obviously- he raised you! Those bubbles are seriously cool :)
