Annual pancake breakfast.

For the past three years I have been on the committee that organizes and hosts the annual 4th of July breakfast for the community. So bright and early, 6:00 AM I am off helping to pour the syrup, mix the batter, and organize the patriotic program details. Darin and the kids always stop by. Here's Logan's traditional big eyes at his plate of pancakes.

This little girl comes for the syrup. Pancakes are simply a mode of transportation for the syrup to reach the mouth. Notice her pancake is in a pool of the sticky stuff.

This year Logan got to lead the children's parade waving a flag and blowing a kazoo.

Posted by PicasaHope everyone had a happy 4th of July!!

Fun 4th - even if it did start to early for me. I love Ellis's syrup with a side of pancakes!
