Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!! I know we did!! We took a road trip to Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, to visit my sister Shari, and her family. We were planning to leave Monday morning, but Darin talked me into leaving Sunday to start the fun early!! So we packed like crazy and hit the road!! The kids LOVE staying in hotels, and were more than happy that we were going to stay in TWO of them on our way to Bainbridge!! Separate sleeping quarters, an indoor pool, and breakfast included, and parents and kids are easy to please!! We spent a night in Boise, Idaho, and a night in Yakima, Washington. The kids did so great with all the driving. Thank goodness for DVD players in vehicles---and lots of new cool projects and gadgets.
Tuesday we arrived in Seattle and we were SO excited for the ferry boat ride over to Bainbridge. Logan didn't sit still for 60 seconds of the whole ferry trip. It was so FUN!!!
When we arrived at Shari and Larry's house, the kids immediately hopped on the awesome swing in the front yard. It was definitely still perfect fall weather there. And there were more fun fallen leaves to play in, just in their yard, than we have in all of Stansbury!!!
The kids loved every minute of our stay!!!
