Christmas Eve !!!

We had a great Christmas Eve this year. Darin made a big breakfast, we each did a last minute run to the store, I helped the kids make and deliver cookies, and we just enjoyed the day together.
The kids were cooperative for the annual PJ pics by the tree. And semi-cooperative for the acting out of the nativity. As always, Darin played the donkey. We watched Luke 2, and another DVD about the life of the Savior. Logan REALLY wanted to know if that was really Jesus acting out the movie. And if it was just someone pretending to be Jesus--then how did that person have the power to make those miracles happen??
The kids left cookies and notes for Santa.
And eight carrots--one for each reindeer, as well as some sparkly oats for the reindeer to eat.
Santa did a lot of wrapping this year. Only the new sleds were left unwrapped.
What a magical evening for the kids!!! I just love Christmas Eve. After the kids went to bed, Darin and I watched "The Nativity" movie that came out last year. Perfect way to "wait for Santa".
