On the last day of school, June 4th, Ellie's dance group performed at The Deseret Peak Stampede. Here she is shakin' those feathers on the outdoor stage.
After the dance performance, Logan chose to play in the bounce houses, and Ellie chose to have her face painted. We had hot dogs, cotton candy, candies nuts, the works!!
This was the first time we have taken the kids to a rodeo. They LOVED it. We didn't even stay for the best parts--the barrel racing and the bull riding. But the kids don't know what they missed, and thought it was all great.
Here they are chompin' on kettle corn and enjoying the bronc riding. I'm sure this is the first of many rodeos for our family. I have no idea why we have never taken them before!! Probably that darn bedtime getting in the way!!!
The rodeo always makes for some great people watching. I even saw a few gals with permed, big hair!! Guess I fit right in!!

Oh, you are making me so jealous. This is the first year missing the rodeo. Hope you enjoyed some of it for me. That is so wrong to miss the bull riders!
