International Peace Gardens--very cool!!

After the candy factory tour, we visited the International Peace Gardens Park. We brought the kids pals, Paige and Trenton with us. I have been wanting to go here. It is such a cool park--and I think too many people are not even aware of it. Granted, it's not in the most upscale part of Salt Lake--but it's worth going to.

The kids had such fun adventures running from statue to statue, going over all kinds of little bridges and secret passages, and playing on the benches and buildings from different countries.

There are gardens and displays from nations all over the world. The kids especially liked the Chinese "house" that they could play in. I liked the Matterhorn mountain replica.

Today it was pretty hot. The kids ran through some sprinklers at the park to cool off. I think we'll go back some evening for a picnic. Pretty cool spot to go check out.
