Lovin' the local lake!!

Yesterday Darin borrowed his brothers truck and row boat. Darin bought a motor for the boat, and was anxious to try it all out last night. It was really fun to cruise the whole lake and see so much of Stansbury from a new view. (We have been in the lake before--with paddles. But with the motor we covered a lot more lake.)

We saw lots of ducks and birds, and even a few fish jumping.

When we were back at the dock loading the boat, I dared Logan to jump in the lake. He couldn't believe I meant it--just what he wanted to do!! So in he went. Ellie was next after much debating. And---she was wearing pajamas!! Next thing we know, Darin jumps in. And it's just me on the dock, taking pictures. After Logan telling me at least a dozen times, "Mommy, come join the fun", I took the dip. In jeans!! The water felt great!! I'd swim in the lake every day if we lived on the water. We all swam around a bit and then headed home for baths and showers.

Thanks Devin for the boat--we'll have a lot of fun with it while you are MIA. FYI--the bother who owns this boat is on a months long motorcycle trip. He and his buddy left from Utah on their bikes, and are now somewhere in the middle of South America!!! I am serious!! Check out his blog, linked to my blog. Devin MIA.
