Last night we went to dinner, had a PJ fashion show, did a fall craft, did nails, ate treats, and chatted all night--til 2:00 AM for some!! Today we headed to the Park City Mountain Resort for a little adventure. We rode the chair lift up for a scenic ride. The leaves are starting to change and it was so beautiful. And on some in-sane whim I agreed to ride the zip-line down the mountain. HOLY CRAP!!! I was sick the entire chair lift ride up--which is VERY long by the way, and during our hike up on the mountain. Me---sick just thinking about riding that zip-line down!! We had to wait in line quite awhile, and NO ONE else ahead of us was making any kind of noise as they buckled into the seat!!! WHOA!!! I am scared when it comes to these kinds of things. So they are buckling me in and I am freaking out!! The entire line of people behind me is laughing and one man asks for a video camera to put me on You-Tube!!! So I ask the worker how you control the speed and he laughs and says "you don't" and then just OPENS THE GATE on me!!! Off I go into the nothingness of outer space screaming my head off!! I never stopped screaming, but after a second it really wasn't scary--pretty fun actually. But man--the anxiety of the drop at the beginning!!! (For those who don't know--this is a very long, high zip-line. You have to ride the ski lift up to get to it, and it zips all the way down the mountain!!!)
The pics below are of Devarie and I posing on a ski-lift bench, all of us at the top of the mountain, and me as I am finishing up the zip-line.
After the zip-line adventure we headed to Cafe Rio for a late lunch, did some shopping and headed home. Thanks Michele for arranging such a fun GNO. Had a great time with everyone!! Next time we need the other three gals with us, and we need to stay for two night!!! I TOLD you that!!!
