This year we added these books to our Halloween book collection. Ellie LOVES the Ivy and Bean books. She had already read this one from the library, but I bought a copy anyways. "Sleepy Hollow" and "Mrs. Patty is Batty" are some of our first chapter books to add to our collection. I bought "Amelia Bedelia" mostly for me--loved those books when I was a kid.

do you really need more books, Miriam....c'mon!!?? You are such a good mom! I have to tell you that I came home from 1/2 price books last night with over twenty hardcover books for only $9.00---Caldecott and more! You'd be so proud. doug just shook his head....I loved it! :)
