Every year at Halloween, the Halloween books come out of storage. We do the same thing for most of the other holidays. It makes it so fun to remember the stories from the year before. Most of our books so far are picture books. This year we will start to add chapter books.
Most of our Halloween books have come from the kids school book orders. But if you love the idea of a basket full of holiday books for this month, and don't have any...check the DI. They are only $0.50 and I have found lots of holiday books there in previous years.
The kids can read all of these books on their own now, but I still love to read them aloud!! I'm pretty sentimental about holiday traditions, and plan to read these exact books to my grandkids one day!!
