WINTER WONDERLAND---AT LAST!!!

We are finally getting the white Christmas I had hoped for...a few days late. But better late than never. Today after sleeping in for me--aaahhh--we headed to Salt Lake for the day. We made gift returns and exchanges at a few places. Then we went to lunch at Tucanos with my free meal certificate. They also gave us the kids meals for free--sweet!! It was super fun and soooo yummy!! The kids love all the different meats coming around to our table.

Then we hit Sugarhouse Park for some sledding. Perfect spot--so many hills all around. I had to snap this pic of Ellie--she lost her fourth tooth last night. Now she's missing her two fronts---so cute!

I didn't come as prepared as I should have. And after a mandatory run down the hill with Darin--I was a snowball. So I watched from the car while Darin and the kids went up and down those hills a few dozen times. It was so pretty with the snow coming down and all the trees frosty.

After a Costco run, we finally made it home just in time to hop those kids right into bed. I am loving all this time that the kids have off of school and Darin off of work. Although I will be happy to get the kids back in the swing of their routine and school....this break is so FUN!!
