The good and the bad today...

It's noon on Friday. I've decided it's a good and a bad day so far.

Bad: Logan was up four times in the night with a sick stomach--too much birthday cake maybe?

Good: No throwing up, just pooping.

Bad: He woke up with his hand hurting and swollen fingers.

Good: The part that was hurting was where the bandages were too tight on his skin grafts, not the actual stitches.

Bad: I had to keep Logan home from school with the questionable tummy and swollen hand that needs to take it easy. And...I was supposed to substitute at the school today.

Good: I don't have to sub and I get some time alone with Logan.

Bad: It's March 25th and it is SNOWING and wet and yucky outside!!

Good: Gives me an excuse to stay all cozy in the house all day.

Bad: I really need to go to the store for a few things.

Good: Instead I am going to snuggle with Logan because he just told me he wants to take a nap. And that never happens!!

I think that all makes for a more good day than bad--especially since I am about to go take a nap in the middle of the day!! Wahoo!! Here's a pic of Logan's swollen hand today. We've elevated and iced it twice today and with that and ibuprofen, I think it's doing better.
