This summer we decided not to host or arrange or organize any kids clubs of any kind. And after much debate with myself, I decided to take lots of field trips. And we decided to focus on family for these outings. Some sisters, some cousins, and a good friend or two. Today we were off to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. We all took a wagon ride, and all the kids rode ponies.
We used every quarter any mom could round up to buy corn to feed the animals. Spent lots of time in the VERY cool gardening building. And loved all the little babies and toddlers we had with us!!!
Bailee loves Ellie, which is so stinkin' cute!! The kids were all great for the whole day. It was great to be out and about having adventures.
After the farm we headed to The Wild West Jordan Playground for a picnic. (Thanks to Lisa B., or I never would have even heard of it.) It is a super duper fun, gigantic playground, with a Utah history theme. Go there!!
So, summer adventures are off to a good start. And to make the mama of the family even more happy....there is no playing with friends until 12:30, and a new list of daily jobs for the kids to do each morning!!! Welcome summer!!! And that also means that summer weather is welcome ANY time now!!! Today it was chilly at that farm!!!
