Friday and Saturday had us going in three different directions for camps. Darin and Ellie went on their first daddy-daughter camp-out with our ward. It was so much fun for them. There were over 30 girls there with their dads. They had a BBQ, smores, pancake breakfast, craft, horseback riding, hiking, rope swinging, candy cannon, and a TON of fun!!! Definitely a ward tradition they will continue to participate in.
Logan had his first cub scout day camp all day Friday and Saturday. He had to be ready for his ride at 7:15 each morning. He went with a group of ten boys his age, to Millcreek canyon in Salt Lake. He had a lot of fun. He made several leather crafts, brought a fun home lunch each day, and learned new things.
I spent all day Friday and Saturday at the 11 year old scout camp at the Wigwam scout camp. The stake primary presidency puts on that camp each year. We combine with the other Stansbury stake. It was really fun to spend the day with such fun, fabulous women. Most of the work for the leaders was done beforehand. So the day of, we just set up shade tents, serve food, and sit back and gab all day.
So, a weekend full of camps for our family.
