Lately Logan and Ellie (mostly Logan) have been telling me that I am "So bossy!!" I think it coincides with having kid stuff strewn about the house, taking twenty minutes to brush teeth, and having been asked five times to put their shoes on.
This morning Logan told me again how bossy I was. Then, as I was walking up the stairs, I overheard him telling Ellie that "Mom is like the wicked stepmother. She's so bossy." And to top it all off, it was Logan's turn to say the morning family prayer. In his prayer he asked, "please bless that mom won't be so bossy today." Said in complete matter-of-fact Logan fashion.
Huh. Leaves me pretty much speechless. I am quite sure that they are not the ones doing the Cinderella-type chores around here. That would be me--serving the royalty that are my children. So precious, aren't they??!!
