Last night Ellie and I went with a bunch of moms and girls from The Dance Centre, to Provo to see the BYU Cougarettes in concert. The performance was pretty amazing--they are really good. Thanks to Kathie S. for inviting the dance company girls to come along. I have not spent a lot of time at BYU events, other than womens conferences. So when they opened with a prayer, I was reminded that we were "not in Kansas anymore." And in the video clips they showed of all the dancers, they were in ways, sharing their testimonies. Definitely not something you see every day...but pretty amazing, and something all you BYU-ites are pretty used to.
We spent the evening with Monica and Paige. So fun to get to chat let the girls flit about.
Intermission had the girls twirling and posing....dance is in their blood for sure. Both these girls love dance!!
Cougarettes in concert might have to be a new tradition?!
