Two weeks ago the kids had their first piano recital!! Here they are with their teacher, Brianne, whom we LOVE!! She is so perfect for them! And she has been more than patient with us forgetting to show up multiple times!! Who does that? Just forgets to go to piano lessons! Well, apparently WE DO!! Brianne, we love you!!!
The kids each did two songs, and they did fabulous, and were very serious about it. They introduced themselves and the titles of their pieces and even bowed! So fun!

Another great thing about taking piano from Brianne is that she only has a handful of students and we know all of them!! So the recital was a group of people we love! Here's Ellie with Ava and Nicole, two of her third grade friends.
And here's Logan with the boys...his good friends Wyatt and Ezra, his buddy Marcel, and his scout class pal, Zach. Such great kids!
Brianne made each of the kids this so creative and yummy Kit-Kat piano.
And as an added bonus, I got to sit by this little treasure, my sweet little "Bob", Sophia!!
Way to go on the piano kids!

Miriam, I love this post. You got some great pictures...would you email them to me? Please! I tried to just save them off the blog but they turned out all blurry. You're kids are amazing at the piano. They surprise me sometimes. I love teaching them and miss them already. Luckily I will get to see them around the neighborhood and say Hi.
