Slow me down...

Yes, like the song playing says...I am a runaway train much of the time. But probably like most moms, the days I go to bed feeling like the day was worthwhile, are the days I do what matters most....focus on my family!! These two little munchkies are growing up right before my eyes. No matter what I do, they won't stand still in time until I slow down enough to focus on them 100%. Sigh....time to cut out more of the fluff and get back to these kids! I am so looking forward to summer and the adventures I have planned for us. And I am once again conjuring up schedules and plans that do not involve hours on end with friends. We'll see who wins....my grandeur plans, or my kids will when begging to play with friends!!

These are a little hard to see. They are just two of the sweet notes my kids made me for mothers day.

 

 

I am a mom. I have now been a mom for more years than I was not a mom, when we were first married. Ironic that I was not a mom for the first eight years of our marriage. It's all I wanted, what I knew I was born to do. And now so often I am rushing through the every day things that being a mom means. Slow me down!!! And Logan and Ellie...wait up!!
