Low key day here in Colorado...completely fine by me! Took a walk with everyone. Then the girls (Dalynn, Devarie, and Darla), and Brandon took a drive around the area. Quiet at the condo, just the kids and I. Kids did a few creative things.
Then they each watched a movie in different rooms and I read a magazine snuggled up on the couch, breezes blowing in through all the open windows. Perfect!

A little bit of hot-tubbin' for the kids and the bikers and the hikers.
Darin and Devarie took off on a bike ride around lake Dillon. The rest of us headed out for a 3.4 mile hike to Lily Pad lake.
We took a wrong turn in the beginning, but eventually circled back around to where we needed to be.
The kids loved the little chipmunks who were not afraid of people at all. Logan held super still by one of their little dens, and on climbed right up on his leg while he was sitting.
We saw two little ducks in the lake, and a muskrat.
They don't call it Lily Pad lake for nothing!

Oh my goodness! It's no wonder I haven't seen you much this summer-- you have been so crazy busy!! What an awesome time you've been having. Especially love the old pics. So fun to see how you've all grown + changed ;)
