Laura Whipple is moving......sigh. (Front row, far left.) She is such a dear friend. We rarely see each other because life is way too busy. But she is one of those soul sister friends that you know is always right there, even when you never see each other. So I guess she'll still be right there....right down there in Lehi. Boo! The other night a few of us planned a little farewell get-together for her. A bunch of gals showed up, some not in the picture. We talked for hours and it felt like minutes. I am so grateful for the good friends I have here in Stansbury Park. Some of these women are pretty much sisters to me. I guess that's why we are all sisters in the gospel. They are lifetimers! Even if they do move!

I brought the paper goods to the party. I thought it was only fitting to bring black. I had no idea this adorable yellow cake would be there with bumblebees to perfectly match the black! It was meant to be. Even though we are in mourning, there is no way a gathering wouldn't be fun and cheery with Laura and this bunch!

Laura was one of the first people I met when we moved to Stansbury, outside of my ward. I met her and Marilee at the park. Logan and Ellie were barely one year old. These ladies teased me for keeping my twins in the stroller and not letting them out. But I knew what I was doing. Logan and Ellie were completely content to watch all the other kids in action on the playground. Logan didn't even walk yet. I enjoyed the moment while it lasted. Before long they were both eating wood chips and attempting to climb the ladders like all the other babies. Where did the years go?! I remember leaving the park wishing I could have some friends here like Laura and Marilee. Bibbity-Bobbity-Boo! My wish was granted!
Best of luck to Laura W. in her new home, neighborhood, ward, community and chapter in life. They are lucky to have you!
