Spring Break: Disney's California Adventure!

We spent an entire day here. LOVED it!! I was dreading the lines being at "The busiest Place on earth" for spring break.....but it was surprisingly great! Overall no super long lines and we got on so many rides! Did the new Cars ride twice...Logan's favorite. Darin and Logan also loved California Screamin' roller coaster and went on it several times. We all really enjoyed the live Aladdin show....it was really incredible. And Soarin' Over California is a favorite for all of us. So amazing to see all those CA sights from the sky, feel the wind, and even smell the pines and orange groves! We also all liked Toy Story's Midway Mania shooting ride and Ariel's ride. So many favorites!!

Cars Land is just super cool and I loved the music. I almost bought the Cars Land CD.

The kids got a little nutty waiting in line when it was getting late. But I'll take nutty over bickering any day!!

I think I noticed a change at Disneyland from years ago. Fewer crying toddlers, less fighting siblings in lines, and MORE technology. These on-the-ground pics are while we were waiting for the night show to begin. And if there was any kind of a long line, the kids were usually on our phones. And as I looked around I saw so many other kids doing the same thing. We had an app on our phones with Disney trivia and park information and tidbits, including wait times for all rides at any given moment. very cool.

The World of Color show on the water had to be one of our highlights for sure! We all thought it was amazing and we had a great view. All these pics are from my phone. I was filming the show and then took still shots from the video on the computer. So not the best quality, but you can still catch a glimpse of how amazing the show was. (Well, kind of. It really was about 10 times more amazing than these pics.)

All the scenes in the show are projected onto spraying water. Water is the screen. They included so many movies in the show....too many to list. But the balloons from "Up" floating up the water screen was one of my favorites!
