Spring Break: The Happiest Place On Earth!!

I do like this place. A lot! It took a day for the rest of my family to slow down and enjoy the tiny little details that make it all magical. But even in their hustle we got to enjoy the classics like "Pirates" and "Haunted Mansion". Ellie's top ride was "Indiana Jones" and Logan's was "Space Mt.".

We didn't stand in any lines to actually meet any characters....since the kids are feeling a little old for that. (Whatever!!) But We did snap their pictures when we saw them. I had no idea Ellie wanted to see princesses until we were on the drive home from CA. They don't wander the grounds anymore, and we never went to their location....sorry Ellie.

Bert and Mary Poppins had a lovely little conversation with the kids.

I really liked the Winnie the Pooh ride. I think because the songs and the Blustery Day story take me back to when I was about four years old. Happy memories for me. Logan did splash mountain alone. He is in the back. It was early morning and nobody else wanted to get wet just yet. He came off the ride singing "Zippity do dah". Makes me smile!

I love the little things at Disneyland....riding the street car, browsing the shops, the buildings, the tiny statues, the lamp posts, etc.

Yep, I was actually on this vacation. I am in few pictures. Always the mom behind the camera.

Waiting to board Peter Pan's Flight....my favorite ride!!

Logan waiting in a line with his new Mickey. He also spent his money on a Lightning Maqueen, a light up Mickey sword, treats, and more. Money burns a hole in that boys pocket like none other!

One of the many little perks Disney offers. I told them the kids birthday was a week ago and they still happily gave them birthday buttons!

Ellie's Minnie ears were her fun souvenir. This day Ellie and I both tried out our new hair buns.

We caught part of the fireworks show while standing in line for Small World. Yep, it's a pretty happy place!!
