Today Darin had to go to a conference. Kind of a bummer for him to have to go off to work while we are on vacation. But it's thanks to that conference that we are even on vacation, so I guess it's OK. The kids and I spent the morning chillin' and getting ready for our last minute special guests to arrive!! On very short notice, we invited Shari and Larry to drive down and join us for the rest of our vacation.....and they did!! We were so excited for them to finally get here!!
Shari and Larry are always so much fun to spend time with and the kids just love them! It's been perfect having them here with us.

We played at the beach for a little while, relaxed at the vacation rental, Shari made coconut chicken curry for dinner, and we all explored the beach and tide pools at night. We can't seem to get enough of the amazing ocean!!
