Oregon Vacation 2013 Day 7.

Up and at 'em!! Gotta get back to Boiler Bay to show Shari and Larry the awesome minus tide conditions. (Darin had to go back to his work conference all day.)

Making our way down to the beach from the roadside.

It's strange to see all the sea grass and kelp and seaweed just laying on the ground, when it would usually be floating tall and waving back and forth in the water. Those layers of green can get pretty slippery on the rocks below. Just ask me...I know!! Yep, I took a pretty good spill when I jumped from one rock down to a lower level. I figured I spare myself the humiliation of a photo. I was muddy and bloody and am still sore three days later. But....the camera is SAFE!!!! My fall could have been a bit less dramatic had I not had to sacrifice knee and elbow to save the camera.

We stopped at Boiler Bay lookout and went back to Cape Foul Weather lookout.

We showed Shari and Larry Depoe Bay and watched the huge waves crash into the seawall.

And of course ice-cream was involved again.

And then there were the chipmunks back at The Devil's Punch Bowl. holy smokes!!! Check it out folks!! this little chubby-cheeker was the leader of the pack!

Yes, my children and petting chipmunks!!

They weren't super fond of the wheat thins, but they settled for them once the peanut butter crackers were all gone. Yes, this critter is ON Ellie's leg. And ON Logan's back! I have no idea if that's a safe idea or if they carry disease or anything.....but boy did the kids sure love it!!
