5th grade hasn't been too bad, as far as visits to the doctor and ER for Logan. Today he added another small accident to his list. He was riding his bike into the garage and somehow had a little mishap maneuvering between the van and the motorcycle trailer. It took a triangle of skin and lifted it up. It was nasty.
He was brave. The ipad helped.
Five stitches later and he is running in and out of the house with friends.
And just for the sake of keeping track of all his mishaps....about two months ago, he broke his baby toe. After a couple of days of serious pain, we took him to the foot doc. Sure enough. Broken bad. We didn't take him earlier because we knew there wasn't much to be done for a broken toe. We buddy wrapped it and he wore a boot for a few weeks. He wore a sandal on the other foot to match.
So, a broken toe and the five stitches today...like I said....not too bad for one school grade!
