OK, this past few days have been SO MUCH FUN!!! I can't believe how many people have contacted me through e-mail or my blog. Friends I haven't heard from in years!!! And it's been crazy to skip from blog to blog and catch up in the lives of neighbors I grew up with, college roommates, high school pals, and friends from places we have lived. It's making me see the beauty in the risk of leaving my blog "open". Give me feedback here--what do all you bloggers think??
And...an explanation for the photo collage below!!! One fellow blogger--college roommate, Melissa, and sister to one of my long-lost best friends--mentioned in her comment how I haven't changed or aged a bit!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!! That is hilarious!!! So I thought I'd send out some photos of myself through the years. Then maybe some of you who have been wondering who I am, will have a light bulb go on. "Oh yes, she's that loud-mouthed girl who rode the school bus with me", or "I remember her. She had the highest hair in the school!!" Thought it might be fun and funny for some of you to remember me at these stages. And not to mention, pretty hilarious for my current circle of friends who didn't know me "back in the day". I did leave a few lovely stages out of the collage--the worst stages anyways. But it will be pretty clear that even since college, I have indeed changed a bunch!!
I think all my fellow blogger friends should make a similar post--let's see you in your prime ladies!!! I've given you reason to laugh your heads off--now do me the same favor!! Can't wait for your "posts from the past!!"

Coolest blog post ever! The one to the right of your wedding pic is how I think of you all the time. DOn't you love blogging? It is super addictive. And just so you know....you can go to Blurb.com and slurp your blog into a book. Then you have a journal and a scrapbook to boot! I am working on doing one per year on my blog....as for the private issue. I resisted going private for a long time. but some creepy person in Turkey tracked me down and I realized how much personal info I put on my blog and how easy it would be to track me or my kids down. I lost a lot of commenters and it took a while for some people to come around, but I figure those that love me the most will take the time to logon! And now it is no big deal. To each his own, but those were my reasons. Mostly my kids safety. That being said I sure am glad you are blogging.
I love this post!!! I don't have a scanner so I don't think that I could do this. I think that you should see how high you can do your hair on saturday just for old time sake. See if anyone notices jk ha ha love ya
Ok you nerd, you have not changed at all. In what way would you think that you have changed? Ok, maybe the hair style but that is it. You could be in highschool still. I love the open mouthed pictures, it's like you can't quit talking even for the camera. hee, hee.
Cute Miriam. I love it. As for the private thing, I started mine out as private just to feel better about putting personal stuff on the internet. I like the idea that when they aren't you can find friends you wouldn't be able to otherwise. It's good and bad. Too bad there are creepy people with nothing better to do out there ruining it for us.
What a hoot!! Love the collage! And no, you haven't changed since the third row ;)
As for privacy... I'm all about the public blog, for the same reason you've come to realize-- reconnecting with so many people!! I think you have to keep in mind the "bad" people out there are by far the minority and the odds of something happening to you + yours is miniscule. (I know, I just jinxed myself....) Whatever you do, keep me in the loop!
What change? :)
That is totally funny! I have known you for a lot of those. It is true, you look like you could still be in High School. That's a good thing. I don't think that I could do that- I am not very cute- I would be so embarrassed. Great post though.
O man you haven't changed at all. fun pictures!! love your blog.
Your blog is so cute! I'm so glad that you have a blog now! I don't know the risks of keeping it open, but if you do make it private, I'd love to be invited! I just keep mine open because I guess I'm trusting.
