Annual Holiday Parade Today!!!

Santa Claus Parade December 2008 !!!

Today we went to the annual Holiday parade. This is our third year attending. As you can see from the photos, the kids are there for the candy!! Today was a pretty warm day, especially for December. We are hoping for snow soon!! This year Santa came through on a horse drawn carriage. Logan asked if it was the real Santa. He also asked if the Grinch we saw int he parade was the real Grinch. Hhhmm?? Do I say yes to both? Do we believe in the Grinch??

Santa Claus Parade 2007 !!! Last year I didn't dare get the camera out of the car. The snow was so deep, and coming down like crazy. We slid into a parking spot and hiked through 6-8 inches of snow to find a spot to see the parade. We opened our camp chairs and the legs sunk into the snow. All the candy that was thrown to the kids disappeared into the snow and they went digging for it. Wish we had that snow this year!!

Santa Claus Parade 2006!!! Below are some pics from the annual parade 2006, our first year going. The kids were three years old. It was very cold, with just a bit of snow. As you can see from the pics--it was still all about the candy back then too. That year Santa ended the parade on a fire truck. Same kids camp chairs in these pics that we used today.
