Sitting on Santa for six seasons!!!!

Logan and Ellie are five and a half and are now celebrating their sixth Christmas season!! Yesterday they sat on Santa's lap at the ward Christmas breakfast. That's the third Santa they've seen this year, and they will see at least one more. They are now asking me which one is the REAL Santa. I think we'll look at all the pictures together from this season to determine which one was the REAL Santa, if any. He may just have been too busy at the North Pole to make it to Utah this December.

Logan has never cried about, or refused to sit on Santa's lap. At age 4 he started to get shy about it all and needed a little coaxing. Those first three years are just so precious!!! My sweet little baby boy!! It gets more difficult in the last three years to tell an age difference. Now he's my sweet little Logan big boy.

Ellie on the other hand--did NOT tolerate Santa until the fourth season. I love the screamin' one the first year!! The second year I had to hold her, and even then she was holding back the tears. The third season, at age 2.5, she again refused--the picture is of Darin holding her while she at least LOOKS at Santa. The next year she started to get brave, because I told her she could ask Santa for a toy. And like Logan, the last couple of years start to blur together--as she doesn't look quite as different from one year to the next. My sweet, feisty baby girl is now my sweet, feisty, big princess!!!
