SERIOUSLY--how cute are those babies at the top of my blog????!!!! I keep opening my blog ten times a day just to look at that sweet picture again!! This is one of the rare photos where Logan and Ellie actually look alike. Their first Christmas!!! Wish I could go back and re-experience it for a couple of hours. The years fly by too quickly. So I'm trying to soak up this year--age 5 and a half. The first year the kids actually know what they want and are asking Santa for it!! Yikes--don't they know they get whatever Santa has found on sale throughout the year?? Logan wants a "Little Angel". Oh help me!!! Refer to my first ever blog post to see "Little Angel." She is a tiny infant rattle stuffed animal bunny angel. Ellie bought her at a yard sale for a quarter this Spring. They fight over that crazy little thing ALL the time. I have NO idea what the big attraction is. But....Logan wants his own and is CONVINCED Santa can bring it!! Anyone have one of these floating around with their baby toys??
We are trying to help Logan learn the difference between the miracles Jesus performed, and the magic of magicians and Santa. He is so literal, and thinks they are one and the same. And he'd like to know where the "real" Grinch lives??? Anyone??? Is it the top of mount Crumpit?? And now where exactly is Whoville? Oh yes, "Logan, it is on a snowflake. Yes, just one tiny snowflake. No, I do not know which one. I'm not sure what happens when it melts." Now folks, is it a miracle that Whoville can exist on a snowflake? Or is it magic? And did Heavenly Father put Whoville there? Now you are getting an idea of what we're dealing with. Whew!! What do the rest of you tell your kids????
P.S. Logan has also informed us he's asking Santa for a basket for his bike. Um...do they make those for boys? He's ticked that Ellie can haul stuff on bike rides and he can't.

My-o-my you are in for one with that Logan...between Whoville and Little Angel I don't know what you are going to do!
As for our family, the grinch is totally not real, just a made up fun story. And when we see Santa out and about at the mall, parades etc, we talk about how all of these Santa's are his helpers because of course the REAL Santa is very busy at the North Pole and can't be at all of these places at once. His helpers report back our messages to him.
Good luck with everything and keep us posted!
Perfect Laura!!! Why didn't I think of that??!! The grinch is not real. And all the Santa's are the helpers!! That is so easy!!
Get Logan one of those baskets you attach over the back tire of his bike. That's much more manly and I bet he can put more stuff in it than Ellie's sissy little basket! lol
