Christmas PJ pictures with the cousins. Ada and Avery, and Wyatt and Shay are a few of the kids cousins on the Daugs side of the family. We got them all at grandpa's house at one time in their PJ's and the cameras started clickin'!! THANKS again to Aunt Rachie for the great PJ's every year!!
Daugs Family bondage time. I mean BONDING!! Saturday was our annual family party. This year dad, "Bonka Don", was completely in charge. We ate pizza and lots of yummy treats. My dad gave us all the latest installment in the genealogy books he has been writing. I read a poem about the fam that I had written the night before at 1:30 AM. (My assignment for the party.) Then, drum roll please.......we played BINGO!!! It's an old family tradition. In fact, my dad held a drawing to give away the actual game that we always played with. Some of us are pretty sentimental about our childhood memories and the actual items in those memories. As soon as he announced the drawing, we immediately made him take out the three oldest sisters names. They were already out of the house by the time this game entered the fam. So they shouldn't get it. My brother Ammon won the game, but he didn't want it. So--the lucky winner was me!! Love it!! I am always collecting old toys and games that we used to play with!! My little sis, Naomi was the one who wanted the game besides me--she's pulling my hair in the picture. As kids, we always used dried pinto beans for the markers. Or if we were really lucky, M&M's. At this family party we actually played DAUGS, instead of BINGO. And we used dried corn kernels for the markers.
Next it was back to the homestead for some fun in the icy snow, and a slide show of pics when we were little. The kids loved being pulled around the orchard in the sled behind the 4-wheelers. The gals in the pics are my little sister, Naomi, and my sis-in-law, Alison.

What a fun family party. I love doing those things that remind you of your childhood, they are gone so quickly.
