Valentine Memory

Recently--as in the past year--my kids have started the dreaded sibling rivalry and bickering. I keep thinking they are too young to be doing this already!!! Especially since I know from memory of my own childhood--that it goes on for YEARS!!! I was looking through old scrapbooks of the kids and was reminded that the teasing and torture began before they could walk!!! And just like back then, much of the instigating of the current episodes is done by one child. SHE is a tricky little thing. Even when they were eight months old, she would "steal" Logan's pacifier. And at 1o months when she was very mobile and he was not, she used him for a chair while he cried. Yep, she'd sit right on him and get comfy--and NOT get off.

These pictures are from the first Valentine's Day we had with Logan and Ellie. I made a little sign and was trying to have a photo shoot with the kids, to send a Valentine to their birth mom. Logan had the sign, Ellie took it from him multiple times. It was a constant battle for the five minutes I was trying to shoot a picture!! WHY did I not already know that I would forever be needing two of everything!!!

I took the sign from Logan this time. He was ticked that it was out of his reach.

Aaahhh!!! Finally the struggle is over. Give those babies a bottle and stop making them pose for pictures!! Nope, we didn't get a great shot--but now it's a fun memory anyways.
