We decorated with yellow and pink balloons, and a sign and napkins with flowers and butterflies. We also made the traditional sign for the door, used our Happy Birthday wreath from Grandma Jones and her table runners, and hung pictures from the past six years on the wall.
The highlight of the party for all the girls was that Ellie's school teacher, Miss Kanz, showed up at the end of the party!! What a lucky girl, and what a great teacher!! Miss Kanz has really brought out the best in Ellie this year!! She brought Ellie and Logan Moon Sand--so much fun to play with. She also gave Ellie a cool sketch book, and the children's book, "The Jolly Postman". She told Ellie how that was a book her parents read over and over to her when she was a little girl. What a treasure for us!! We love you miss Kanz!!!!
Ellie is so lucky to have so many little friends. She has such a great group of girls her age, girls I would be happy for her to grow up with. I especially appreciate her two little carpool pals, Ava and Emma for being such great examples to Ellie of how to be polite and considerate of others.
