Logan's 6th birthday party

Logan wanted a "Wiggles" birthday party. Not what all six year old boys want, but at least he's not six going on sixteen like Ellie girl!! We made his door poster with little Wiggles pictures, and put Wiggles pictures on the cupcakes. We decorated with the four Wiggles colors--red, yellow, blue, and purple. We played ring toss with four Gatorades in the four Wiggles colors. The boys played musical numbers listening to Wiggles music. And I think that's about it...that's how we made it a Wiggles party.

There were 15 little boys at Logan's party. Only one of his school classmates made it to the party, so it's a good thing he has plenty of neighborhood friends we invited. Three of hi school buddies did drop off gifts even though they missed the party--so sweet of them. He had three classmates out of town, and one with a broken leg!! We played Red Rover outside and tried to play with the parachute. But it was so windy we could hardly hold on to it--which the boys all thought was hilarious!!

For treats we had cupcakes with frosting in the four Wiggles colors, and juices. We sent the boys home with party favor bags with a note thanking them for helping Logan celebrate his birthday. Logan has so many good little friends. He invited 27 boys, and would have invited more had I let him!! They brought him some cool gifts. One of the coolest is a marshmallow blow gun, painted in army camo colors, from his friends, Wyatt and Ezra. Thanks Laura!!

Logan was so happy about his party. It was a great lesson for me to see that the kids are just as happy with a ring toss and Red Rover, as they were with a magician and a bounce house. What great kids!! Happy 6th party Logan!!!
