As of the blogging of this post---Logan and Ellie have one official day of kindergarten left!!!! Yikes!!! Where did the year go?? Here are a few of the happenings this last week of school. (Note: I went with the kids on their class field trip to the zoo last week--but I must have deleted the pictures!!! So tragic!!)
Here Logan and Ellie are showing off their self-made ABC books. The parents were invited to the school to read the books. Every student in the school made a book to display. They call it "The night of 1000 stars."

Today was "Beach Day" at school. The kids were asked to not wear their swimming suits unless they wore clothes over them. Ellie told me, "Mom, it's inappropriate." I'm pretty sure my kids swimming suits are MORE than appropriate--but Ellie opted for a leotard instead.
Here Ellie is playing with water and sponges, playing in the sand table, eating snacks with friends, and having the traditional big-water-party-treat....Otter Pops.
Here Logan is showing us his stuff with the hula-hoop, blowing bubbles, chowing on chips and playing water tennis.
The highlight of the day was a big blow-up water slide. The kids had a great time splashing and staying nice and cool today.
Thanks PTA and K-teachers for a great kindergarten play day!!!

How fun, those days go by so fast.
The year does go fast, but we're ready for summer. Your kids are growing up so fast. What are you going to do next year when they are gone the whole day. Imagine all of the extra time not having to go pick up in the middle of the day.
I feel bad I missed that one! I'm impressed at how involved you've stayed. Way to go! And I love the "inappropriate" comment. I heard the same thing from Wyatt!
