Summer Swimmin' through the years!!

I thought it would be fun to see pics of the kids in their swimming suits the past six years. Here's a quick review of our water babies enjoying the splashing over the years.

The babies are somewhere near four months old in this first pic. It was their first time ever in bathing suits, and first time ever to go to Bear Lake for a family reunion. Of course the suits were pretty much for show--maybe we dipped their toes in the water, but that was it.

Here they at a year old. This was their first time ever going in a public pool. We were at a "Twins Club" outing, and Logan and Ellie got their picture printed in the local paper for an article celebrating twins!! They kids also BOTH slipped on the poolside flooring and BOTH got big goose eggs on their heads this day.
Age two was a summer spent playing in a backyard blow-up pool.
Age three was the year this mommy decided she'd had enough of the sunscreen rituals before every swimming outing. Thus began the nearly full-body swimming suits for the kids. They were hard to miss this first year in their BRIGHTLY colored suits!! (FYI--the day this pic was taken, Logan had a seizure, and also threw-up in the car!!)

Here they are at age four. Ellie playing in the hose at grandmas house, and Logan splashing in the fountains at The Gateway. A couple of people asked me if Ellie's "outfit" was really a swimming suit. Yep, bought it online from the Disney store in the girls SWIMMING SUIT section!! A little sunscreen on the face, and we're ready!!

Last year at age five the kids were able to jump off the diving board and swim to the edge alone, even without their life jackets. At age five they passed levels 1 and 2 in swimming lessons.

And here we are at age six. This year the kids are wearing matching Superman/Superwoman suits--yep, they are pretty much elbow to below-the-knee coverage. The kids are very confidant and accomplished in the pool this year. They swim alone in the 3-4 feet and love to dive for the rings at the bottom of the pool. They are little fish for sure--it's so fun to watch them!!
