Last week Darin took a six day trip to Ketchikan, Alaska. He went with his brother, Devin, my brother, Ammon, and bunch of other guys. They had a great time, pretty much fishing most of the trip. They stayed in a cabin right on the water and fished right out the back door. They saw several bears as close as 20 yards away in the yard, picked salmon berries, ate a lot of fish each day, and generally had a great guy-time.
I LOVE seafood and told Darin he could only go on this trip if he came home with a freezer full of salmon!! He definitely delivered!!! A little bit of cod, and a LOT of salmon!!! Yippee!!!
I'm glad he had such a great time. He definitely needed a refreshing break--and Alaska is just about as beautiful as it gets. We missed him and I counted down the nights til he was home. I am a baby and am scared alone in the house at night. He said it would have been fun to take that trip with me. Maybe another year--and definitely not with twelve or so other GUYS!!!

That very last picture of Darin looks just like Logan! Thanks so much for putting together that swim party/baby shower - it was so much fun!
