On Tuesday we had a kindergarten class reunion water party for Ellie's school class. Her teacher, Amy Kanz, helped me put it together. But what she didn't know was that it was a surprise baby shower for HER!!! She is expecting a girl the first week of October. (FYI, I am going to be her long-term sub while she is on maternity leave.)
It was so much fun surprising her. The other moms helped me pull things together with balloons, and pink paper products, lawn chairs, and fun beach umbrellas for shade. Everyone brought treats for the moms and kids. Each mom wrote advice for the soon-to-be-mommy, and we just had a great time hanging out all afternoon, opening gifts, etc.
The kids had a fabulous time in the kiddie pool, on the slip-n-slide, and on the blow up water slide. It was so fun to see all the kids from Ellie's school class, and all the moms too. Thanks everyone for the fun day!! WE LOVE YOU Miss Kanz!!!
