We went to a bunch of different beaches during the four days we were there. We all loved exploring, finding seashells and sea glass, and walking along the sandy and rocky beaches. The kids loved climbing on all the big logs at Fay Bainbridge beach. In the pics below, Darin and Logan are exploring together, Shari and Logan balance on a log, Malauri and Shari pose, and Andrew is playing with his dog, Truffles.
Here Logan throws a stick for Truffles to retrieve. The kids were a little nervous of the dog at first, but they warmed up to him.
Like I said, we ALL loved the beaches. But this little girl was in her element!!! All she wanted to do was go back to another beach!! She always had a bag in hand to collect treasures. And she came across this little white starfish all on her own!! Her older cousin, Andrew, has a collection of sea glass, so Ellie was excited to find some as well.
Here is a small portion of the seashells and rocks the kids collected. These were the ones that made it into the van when we were packing.
Aaahhh!! The ocean!!
