Logan's new bedding and my SWEET Deal!!!

So, those who read my blog know I have been debating lately about whether or not to update the kids bedrooms to something a little olderish. We will still paint and redo Ellie's bedroom in January. And for now Logan's bedroom just got a little face lift that I am SO excited about!! The bedding that he has had is from this same company, "Olive Kids". But his was second-hand and faded, and didn't have all the fun "extras".

So, here it is--new headboard, sheets, pillows, bed skirt, throw, etc. I came across these bedding sets on a local online classifieds ad. (There was a girls set too. You'll see it when we do Ellie's room in January.) These are made by the "Olive Kids" company. If you were to buy the set from the company, it would cost near $300, NOT including the headboard. Well, I bought this set brand spanking new in the package for $35 !!!!!! Yeeeeeeeehawwwww!!!!

The deal was too great to pass up, so I was calling all kinds of people on my way to pick the bedding up to spread the word. When I got there they only had 10 sets left. And, yep, I bought all ten!!! (Six boy, four girl.) Gotta pass the good deals along when you find them!! Someone else bought a bunch and is now trying to sell them on the same classifieds website for $100. Smart folks--but for me, I just wanted to help a few others get a great deal with me!!

Fun, fun, fun stuff!!! Looks like the "transportation" theme is here to stay in Logan's bedroom!! He loves it!!!
