Yep, it's been 15 years since we said the big "I do". I have so been looking forward to this trip, and celebrating this miracle of a milestone in our marriage. And I think The Heavens wanted to celebrate as well--because we were sent a PERFECT day!! It was a beautiful, sunny, blue sky day!! (The forecast had said it would rain!!)
One single red rose marked the anniversary for us. (1-We knew we'd have to throw the flowers out before we flew home. And 2-We did all of our shopping across the border in Oregon. And then when you come back into California, they won't let you bring plants or some fruit.) But somehow, I think the simplicity, and beauty of the single rose was exactly what matched our anniversary.
We went on an amazing hike for our big outing that day. We hiked the Enders Beach Trail. It takes you to a beautiful beach, not accessible by car. We spent time at that beach, and continued on the hike up into the hills above the sea. Breathtaking!!!
We loved our little cabin so much that we decided to eat in for our anniversary dinner. And as you can see, fresh crab was on the menu!!! We had a great time cracking and digging for the mouth-watering stuff!!
HAPPY 15th ANNIVERSARY TO US!!!
