Fun at The Farm

Day three of UEA break, and we're still going strong. A few minor mishaps and attitudes, but overall it's grand. Today we headed for Wheeler Farm. The kids all wanted to pose for a picture in these little garden tee pees. Ellie and Raigan happened to have matching Halloween shirts. So they wanted to both wear jeans and headbands in their hair.

Naomi and her girls and Heather and Nora met us there. We had a good time running around (the regular activity at all outings), going on a tractor-pulled wagon ride, playing in the playhouses and trees, having a picnic on the grass, feeding the ducks, and seeing the animals.

We can never get enough of my great-niece, Nora. The kids all want to pick her up and dote on her.

Before we got home, we stopped off at the Bensen Grist Mill Pumpkin Walk. We took a quick look round, and the kids walked through the little hay maze.

I was glad to get home and send the kids all to the basement for a movie or to the backyard to play. Half the neighborhood showed up to play as well. The more the merrier. Now the kids are counting down the minutes until trunk-or-treat tonight!!! The fun just keeps on comin'.
