The Halloween Fun Continues....

We sure have had a fun day celebrating Halloween. Here the kids are modelling their costumes for me. I always beg them to pose for pics. Luckily today they were completely happy to ham it up for the camera.
Logan LOVES being Mario. I love this darling genie costume that Ellie is wearing. One of her multiple costumes this Halloween season. A lady needs options, you know. One costume for the entire season is just not enough.
I helped with Ellie's class Halloween party. Room Mother Job. And a fun one!! I got this cute snapshot of her and her desk-neighbor, Kennedy. So cute. And I did sneak into Logan's classroom a couple of times to see the festivities he was up to. I got one shot of his class sitting together on the floor. I was having camera battery issues....so not too many pics.
Tonight was Trunk-or-Treat with our new ward. THIS was the sunset as we were waiting for everyone to show up, and the kids marched around in their costumes. It was AMAZING!!!
Here's a shot of Darin and Logan, with that beautiful sunset. I don't get too many shots with Darin or I in them. It's all about the kids in our world. But it's nice to have a few pics with parents in them----so decades from now we can prove that we actually WERE present.
Ellie worked super hard making Halloween pictures and crafts to help decorate our van for trunk-or-treat. She told us three weeks ago that they announced in primary that the best decorated cars would get prizes. So she tried her best to help us win. When the powers-that-be heard that she had made all our decorations, they awarded her an honorary prize....a whole box of donuts. When we told her she had to share with the family, she asked, "Well, since I won them, can I be in charge of them?" A girl after my own heart. Although two "in charge females" living in the same house has it's challenges.
Happy Halloween-Eve-Eve!!!!
